This is fast becoming one of the best ways to generate inbound links. Think about it, most publishers of online newsletter, ezines etc are always looking for new and interesting content(I know what it’s like just getting these 3 or 4 pages out to you every 2 weeks!).
There are thousands websites out there that are dedicated to giving these publishers all the content they need.

All you have to do is submit a well written and helpful article to one of these sites and let the thousands of publishers of newsletters,e-zines and websites use them for free – on the proviso(and this is the key) that they link back to your website.Then you just sit back and watch the links multiply!

Readers of your article will see you as an authority. You’ll find web traffic and requests for quotes increase significantly after visitors recognise that you know what you’re talking about. Also, because you’re published, your credibility is increased by association.

I’m not for a minute suggesting that your website is not important, what this statement refers to is that just relying on a website to convert visitors into paying customers you could be missing a huge conversion opportunity.
The key to any sales process is, of course, to start and develop a long term mutually beneficial relationship. Just having a website won’t do this.

Even the best marketers with the most successful websites seldom convert more than 5% of their web visitors into a customer when their website is their only marketing vehicle.
This is why having some kind of opt-in mechanism is vital for capturing your visitors contact information, developing a relationship with them and as a result dramatically increasing the chance of making the sale.
